Cookies & browser storage.

What is used now, what may change with advertising, and how to make your choices.

Current storage

This release does not load Google AdSense, Google Publisher Tags, analytics, marketing pixels, or embedded advertising. The application’s optional reading list uses localStorage only when you save stories. Hosting or an access-control service can have separate essential technical mechanisms needed to deliver or protect the website.

Optional reading list

The key autobuske-reading-list contains saved article identifiers. The application keeps that information in the same browser and device and does not send it to our server. It remains until you remove stories, clear the list, clear site data, or your browser removes the storage.

Planned Google advertising

When Google AdSense and Ad Manager/AdX advertising is enabled, Google and selected vendors may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and related technologies for permitted advertising functions. These can include delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, frequency controls, and personalization where authorized. Non-personalized advertising is not automatically free of storage or data processing.

The actual vendor, purpose, and duration information must reflect the live configuration. No advertising cookie inventory is represented as currently active on this release. Our Privacy policy provides more detail about intended advertising data handling.

Consent and later changes

Where required, optional technologies must wait for the appropriate choice. Personalized Google advertising in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland requires Google’s certified CMP and IAB TCF integration. The consent interface must also provide the applicable way to revisit or withdraw choices. A cookie notice by itself does not perform that function.

Visit Privacy choices for the current service state, browser signal information, and links to available controls. Because advertising is not yet active, this page does not pretend to operate an absent advertising consent system.

Browser settings

You can block or remove cookies and site data using your browser’s privacy settings. Removing site data also removes locally saved stories and may remove remembered consent choices once a consent service is introduced. Browser controls do not necessarily delete records already held lawfully by an external service.

Google’s advertising preferences are available through My Ad Center. A provider-level setting and a website-specific consent choice can serve different purposes, so use the controls relevant to your request.
